Who is Julien Guillemette?

Julien Guillemette, screen music composer, is a talented 23-year-old musician from Sherbrooke, Quebec. His passion for music began at a young age, and he has since continued his academic and professional career in this field. His academic career is marked by a high school diploma in music, followed by a college diploma in music with a specialization in jazz guitar and he is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in music for image at the University of Sherbrooke.

This solid training allowed him to develop mastery of several instruments, such as guitar, bass, piano, accordion, vocals, drums and merlin. His various academic and professional experiences have allowed him to explore music production software, such as Sibelius, Logic Pro, Ableton and FL Studio, making his skills as a composer very versatile. As a stage technician, he is able to apply his talent in various musical contexts, including score editing. Long before focusing on image composition, Julien began his professional career as a performer. From the age of 5, he developed his passion for the piano, and at 7, he added the guitar to his portfolio. Over the years, his curiosity and thirst for learning led him to master many other instruments. After that, Julien focused on his intensive academic career in pop and rock interpretation, which earned him his DEC in jazz guitar profile studio at Cégep de Sherbrooke.

What inspires Julien is the possibility of sharing his passion through media such as video games and films. His main motivation is to make his audience experience varied emotions through his music, thus creating an immersive and memorable experience. Julien Guillemette is a talented composer who will continue to leave his mark on the world of film music through his creativity and dedication.
